Friday Night Tailgate

Ridgecrest Baptist Church will be having a tailgate party on Friday, Nov.9th at Durham County Stadium starting at 5:30.  Please join them for free food, a bonfire, and tailgating games.  Hope to see you there!

Soccer Playoffs

The Boy’s Soccer team will host Swansboro High School in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA playoffs on Tuesday, Nov. 6th at 6:00.  Admission is $7.00 and NHS season passes are not accepted.  Please check back tomorrow during the day for updates in the event the weather does not cooperate.

Soccer Advances

The Northern soccer team defeated East Wake Saturday night in a hard fought game.  It was a great effort by both teams with the Knights pulling out a 1-0 win in double overtime.  Northern will host Swansboro HS on Tuesday, Nov. 6th – game time TBA.  Tickets are $7.00, no NHS passes accepted for state

Conference Champions

The varsity football team defeated Northwood 23-0 Friday night. The Knights are now 10-0 and finish undefeated in the Big 8 Conference.  The Knights are now back to back Bull City and Big 8 Conference Champions. Northern steps out of conference to take on Cardinal Gibbons Friday, Nov. 9th at Durham County Stadium.

The #4 seed Northern soccer team will host East Wake in the first round of the NCHSAA playoffs Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 7:00.  Tickets are $7.00.  NHS season passes will not be accepted for this game.  Come out and support the Knights Saturday!

Conference Champions

The Northern Men’s Soccer team defeated Cedar Ridge Wednesday night 5-1 and claimed its 1st conference soccer title since the late 1980’s.  The Knights finish the regular season 14-3-2 and 12-1-1 in the BIG 8 Conference.  Northern awaits the NCHSAA seedings on Wednesday, Oct. 31st with a home first-round playoff game later next week.

BACK TO BACK BULL CITY CHAMPS!
