BIG 8 Conference Swim Finals

Basketball Moves to 7-0

The NHS Varsity men’s basketball team moved to 7-0 Wednesday night as they defeated Eno River Rival Riverside 74-65.  The Knight’s next game will be Dec. 28th at 11:00 am against Cape Fear Christian Academy in the opening round of the South Granville Holiday Tournament.

NHS Swimming

Tough loss against Orange and Chapel Hill for the Northern Swim Team last night- while we won or got 2nd in most events, Orange was able to pick up points from having multiple swimmers score in each event. We’ve still got a lot of swimmers who are dropping time, though- keep up the good work!

Boys Basketball Remains Undefeated

The NHS Varsity Boys Basketball team defeated Hillside Tuesday to move to 6-0, 3-0 in the Big Eight Conference.  Action continues tonight at Riverside as the JV Boys play at 4:30, Varsity girls at 6:00 and Varsity boys at 7:30.  Thank you for everyone who came to the game, especially the NHS AFJROTC and the

It was a great meet for Northern on 12/12 against Chapel Hill and Cedar Ridge! The boys almost beat Chapel Hill  and defeated Cedar Ridge by an incredible 75 points! The girls suffered numerous injuries but still managed to stay in a tight race with both teams. We’re up against Chapel Hill again next Tuesday,

Boy’s Basketball Starts Conference Play

The area’s #8 ranked Northern Men’s Basketball team started off conference play Tuesday vs. Southern.  In front of a great crowd, the Knights defeated Southern 69-62 to move to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference.  The Knights travel to former PAC 6 foe East Chapel Hill on Friday.  Game time 7:30.   photo courtesy
