Swimming – Conference Finals

NHS Knights swam at the PAC 6 Conference Championships last night at UNC’s Koury Natatorium.  Many swimmers had strong performances:  Senior Captain Cody Pineiro and Junior Cody Helm turned in personal best times with exceptional swims in their events. Northern will host a Triple Header with Hillside Friday, January 16th.  JV Boys play at 4:30, Varsity Girls at 6:00 and Varsity Boys at 7:30.  Tickets $6.00 Saturday the Varsity Boys will play at DSA against Panther Creek 7:00 and Monday at DSA against Apex at 7:00.

Varsity Boys Win!

The Northern Boys Varsity Basketball team won the South Granville Holiday Invitational Monday night with a 96-89 victory.  Kentrell Barkley took home tournament MVP honors but it took a solid team effort to propel the Knights to victory!  The Champs also brought home a rather big check for going 3-0 in the tournament.
